Creating Mechanical Men

Since 2008 Anatole has created a series of high res Robot renders for Getty Images creative ‘Stone Plus’ collection. The Robots have evolved over the years, each model is based on a fully articulated skeleton, with each joint uses piston actuators, for a full range of motion, the rig is controlled by a custom biped rig, to easily pose or animate the Robot. Do Robots Dreams of Electric Sheep?

Are Robots (A.I) conscious, not yet, but it is looking like the possibility is getting closer and closer, personally I like the direction of the A.I. in ‘The Matrix’ series, where the Robots are not defaulting to evil tyrannical trying to wipe out humanity (In the end they do, after being repeatedly attacked by humans). I tend to think they will be filled with natural curiosity about the nature of reality and life, it is yet to be seen if the smaller ego, will be part of the future A.I. Robot minds, maybe that will be excluded from the most fundamental part of its structure. They will be as awakened Robots, no longer holding a fundamentally ‘lowest common denominator’ or the default to entropy position, which seems to befall every human being, it’s something to think about.
